Ronald Koeman discussion

We hang on to him and he will turn it around, but to what end? Another crap run later in the season at the end of a good one? Same pattern next season.

I can understand wanting to hold off if you can see any sign that this guy is going to achieve anything with us, but otherwise what's the point. Get rid as soon as they have a proper replacement lined up.

We need a transfer window that isn't an absolute [Poor language removed] show

Yep. Almost always. I think it's you talking rubbish. You're backing a man to the hilt who you openly admit you've no clue what he does,

I'm confused why you love Walsh. What has he done? Like seriously what? Hit me.

I hate losing. I hate acceptance of losing.

And you also openly admitted you weren't sure what amount of say he has over transfers? So why should we blame everything on the manager and him?

The only signings he could have pushed for himself might have been say Vlasic who's been good which would mean Walsh is good. He could have put forward a load more that would have been good that Koeman didn't agree on.

Until you see Walsh sign players with a different manager in place can you categorically say it's not working with him as a Director of Football.

I'm not talking wham I'm just extremely logical.

For what it's worth I don't think he could have done much more tonight i thought his selection was fine especially if Baines is injured and the subs were attacking.

We did not deserve to lose that game the luck when the free kick hits the inside of the post and comes out and they go and score with the first attack which deflects of Keane was really harsh.
But didn't that bit of bad luck get outweighed by our captain fortunately not being sent off for nearly shoving their keeper out into Gwladys Street?

I can’t believe there’s still people defending him and the whole thing really.

I don’t know if it’s blind hope or whatever, but tonight was slightly better, but it was just blood and effort. No plan. Nothing.

Let’s just lob all the forwards on and hop for the best every game.

It’s pathetic.
It's been this way all season. I have been waiting for us to look like we know what we're doing since preseason.

He chops and changes the personnel and the formation but it all plays out the same. What on earth do they do at Finch Farm? Is he just practicing his putting while they do the bleep test?

Ronald Koeman
"I'm of course disappointed. We started well but then a stupid fault for the penalty. There were players in the first half playing without confidence.

"The second half was better. We scored a good goal and created chances. But in football you need a bit of luck - Gylfi's free-kick could go in but it hits the post and then we find ourselves 2-1 down."

On progressing out of Group E:

"It's very difficult [to reach the next stage]. You need to win your home games. We need six or seven points. Nothing is impossible."

On confidence:

"You get confidence out of winning games. But the way we fought in the second half was something we can hold onto. Now we have an important game at the weekend."

There was a point in the first half of tonight's game when Martina moved forward even though his man was going in the opposite direction which opened up that whole side of the pitch. At that point alarm bells should have gone off but they didn't. If one player can take a manager down then it is Koeman's willingness to allow Martina to play when he is clearly not Premier League standard.

Has he gone yet?

And if not why the F! Not!!!!!

Is Moshiri a Kopite ffs. Get him binned get a football manager in and get Barkley back to his best. The last survivor of the quality we once had.

I've made my point. He either picks the players so is culpable. Or he doesn't sign the players, in which case his role is redundant.

You disagree, it's fine. I don't really care becausr Koeman is the more pressing and important matter.
