Ronald Koeman discussion

Well at least you can't say the players aren't fighting for him... We're all great on this board at coming up with tactics and team selections but it's time to face facts: regardless of the team selection we are side that is struggling.

There are a plethora of reasons for that. You could look to the fact that Lukaku has been replaced by a young lad who should be on loan in the Championship but it's mainly down to us having bought so many new players that are either just not good enough or are going to take a while to settle in.

Sack the manager by all means but there is no quick fix to this situation; and if we become one of those teams who bomb the manager out at the first sign of trouble then I am absolutely convinced that we will be relegated at some point over the next decade. We're not a top team who can give millions to every new fella in charge, largely we go with what we've got.

Honestly in two minds, but I don't see anybody waiting to take over with a magic wand. We are still going to have a god awful centre forward on the pitch.

With Martinez, it was very very clear the players had give up on him. His enfuristing insistence on playing the same players in the same formation every week with the same pathetic results, culminating in an absolute no show at Sunderland.
For all Koemans faults - and I've mentioned countless ones in the past, he is at least trying different formations, different players. There was a spirit in the players today hampered by a lack of confidence and an abject lack of quality in some. The subs today were bold and almost worked (ok the Sandro one was desperate).

He got us out of a similar rut last season and did the same with Southampton.

I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger but I'm not there yet.
Beginning to miss Roberto now

I’m not one for sacking managers left, right and centre, however, this doesn’t feel right at all.

So much invested in a squad that are clearly exceptional individuals but just cannot play together, it’s almost comical.

We are almost a quarter into the season and I honestly can’t see things changing the way they are. So much wrong, such wasted talent.

Lyon were there for the taking tonight, we were just poor. Terrible shame.

I think the board have some big decisions to make or we’ll be playing Sheffield Wednesday on the opening day of the Championship, next season.

We hang on to him and he will turn it around, but to what end? Another crap run later in the season at the end of a good one? Same pattern next season.

I can understand wanting to hold off if you can see any sign that this guy is going to achieve anything with us, but otherwise what's the point. Get rid as soon as they have a proper replacement lined up.

Do you ever come out with anything intelligent.

Yep. Almost always. I think it's you talking rubbish. You're backing a man to the hilt who you openly admit you've no clue what he does,

I'm confused why you love Walsh. What has he done? Like seriously what? Hit me.

I hate losing. I hate acceptance of losing.
