Ronald Koeman discussion

The only thing I'm thinking is he has more time, because if he was going to be sacked it would have been much better to not let him do the press conference. Him not doing would have sent the message out, worryingly it looks like he could get another game in charge, I hope I'm wrong.
I fear you are correct.Praying for a long drawn out meeting though.

I don’t understand why the crowd has been so tolerant?

We stayed for 5 minutes after the whistle today. Probably only 20-30% of fans left by then. No protest at all. Have we all resigned ourselves to this garbage?

When Martinez left at least we all knew we would make a big profit if and when the likes of Stones, Deulofeu and Lukaku were sold. Can't see a single player other than Gana making us a penny profit from the Koeman era!

Aye, me neither. Was happy enough with how last season panned out, but I always felt he was an average manager that wouldn't be much of a step above Martinez

We stopped leaking goals. That was about it.

The football was poor, bar the odd game, and still relied on our two best players who aren't here anymore.

You know he's not bothered mate, if he's sacked he walks away with 7 mill big ones.

Ever wonder why sacked managers never really seem to bothered.

Your financially better off getting sacked and picking up a new role a couple of months later.

I honestly think that’s the only reason Moshiri will keep him, in some bizarre chess game between the two.

I reckon they fell out ages ago and Koeman is taking the mick by pressing randomise every team selection and then looking just slightly arsed during defeats, with enough confusingly delivered post match interviews to make it look plausible. He even sported the beard and dishevelled look against Brighton.

All the while he’s seeing how far he can take it before Moshiri folds and he gets his big payout.

Hence the smile from Farahd today. It’s game on lads!

*winks.

Stones was bought by Moyes. We made £5/6m profit on Del due the buy-back clause that was not much.

We got a lot of youth players they would be sold for profits.

I think the only question remaining now is does he go before or after the Chelsea cup game.

If he goes before, then the next manager (for arguments sake we’ll say Unsworth on a temp basis) could get an absolute thumping in his first game and take a huge dent to his and the teams already shattered confidence.

If we wait until after the game to get rid then it saves the new man coming in to a horrible game to start with. But on the flip side it would mean we’re out of another competition. Either way us the fans can’t really win here.

Sometimes not reacting is the biggest reaction we can show.

5-2 home defeat and no uproar after the whistle? That is a very loud message.

I’d say Pickford, Lookman & Vlasic would turn a profit, but agree with your point. We wouldn’t get half of what Sigurdsson, Bolasie & Klaasen cost. We’d be lucky to get rid of Williams on a free, because no one would pay him (or any of those 4) what we’re paying them.
