Ronald Koeman discussion

Surely he has to go, how can he really continue I would make us a laughing stock. He would never have lasted so long at any other club, we really have been good to him, it hasn't worked so time to move our separate ways.

We all are, otherwise we would’ve sacked off Everton years ago. We’re not masochists who want to endure miserable football, so wanting to distance ourselves and not bother with them is a natural temptation. Very few will ever follow that through.
Precisely.
Been around too long to desert the club now. It's in the blood no matter how cack we are.
Let's hope the custodians of the club get it sorted soon.

I’m really disappointed in the way Koeman has turned out. Last season, I thought we finally had a Manager worthy enough to take us to the next level and kick the ‘plucky Everton’ tag in to touch.

I remember talking to my Dad about him last season when he subbed Barkley early and it changed the game - we were both heartened by what appeared to be a more ruthless, win at all costs approach. Turns out that was a false dawn.

No doubt, the board have let Koeman down by not recruiting a proper striker, but for me, a more capable Manager would’ve been able to limit that board-inflicted damage, rather than compound it.

He clearly thinks he should be sacked, maybe even wants to be. Would probably have already sacked himself if he was the board but he is in limbo waiting for them to have the balls to pull the trigger.

Seen some saying should resign, of course he shouldn't when he would be giving up a 10m payout and neither would anyone in their right mind.
No Prem manager in the modern era will walk, way too much money involved.Maybe it's time for contracts linked to performance (well you can only dream)

Something's gone with him mate.

He's lost his head.

I'm not sure exactly where, but it's happened.

I'm a huge fan of his in that I wanted him here and he impressed me on the whole last year. But at the moment, he's got nothing. He's not even making excuses anymore.

You'd think someone would have told him to stop this by now, wouldn't you? It's a dreadful tweet but there's absolutely nothing he could write here that wouldn't encourage abuse.

Hi was never very good, I never wanted him here I admired him as a player, but always come over as a dull and boring bloke. That what he has turned us into, he's upset loads of players and just favoured his buys for so long even though they are not performing.

I've got to the 'feeling sorry for him' stage now. A bit like I felt about Roberto before he got binned.
Looked like a lost boy in the press conference, almost accepting his fate
We've made a mistake. Let's admit it and move on before any more delay is terminal.

I think he took the job on the basis that his reputation earned him the right to be hands off with the players and let his brother deliver his vision.
on the training ground. The players eventually sussed him and his bro out and in the end too many holidays, golf courses and poor communication at FF lost the players.
