Im an enthusiastic supporter of Koeman but i have one small criticism.Im not sure about the Twitter thing.Because to be honest it's the sort of thing i would happily crucify Martinez for.

Don't read them. He got every right to use this platform as a media to engage with the fans. It's 2016, it's all about social media. It's the trolls I can't stand.

This hard work is true to be honest, how many times did we see barkley strolling around the pitch last season, once a rival player ran past him and an attack was on and what did barkley do, start walking rather then running after the attacker and putting pressure on him. He seems to be doing more running this season. He either a lazy sod, scared of hurting himself or unfit.

Ridiculous statement.

If it's true you wont mind providing one of the many numerous times it's happened and been caught on video...will you?

Im sure if you pick any game from last season you will find what you are looking for. Its only this season hes actually doing abit of donkey work that's expected of a midfielder.

Walking after a player that ran past him? Maybe he did...and lots of times. I'd like evidence of it though. It sounds outlandish to me; an example of the unnecessary OTT criticism he receives from some quarters.

As you can see from my profile picture im a fan of his. Its not OTT to suggest that he needs to be doing these things to reach his potential. If the manager believes (as a lot on here do too) that his best position will be a deeper role in a midfield 2 or even 3 than what you have confirmed about him about walking around the pitch rather than chasing back will not be good enough.
There has been a huge improvement in his workrate but his performances have been patchy and I think if we had have signed a couple of top quality midfielders he may have found himself out of the team.

You said above 'Maybe he did...and lots of times'. Not sure why you continue to ask for evidence when you know already this was the case last year. I wont get on a players back when he is clearly trying but I will provide feedback on what he has improved and where he needs to improve further. He can be a top bracket midfielder as he clearly has talent. Just think with the right manager no we will se this after been given a free reign last year which has not helped him at all.

I ask for evidence because it sounds unfeasible to me that he's beaten by an opponent in a duel and then simply breaks into a walk. Maybe it happened once or twice, I dont know. But to try and serve it up as a part of his game last season or this - as said - is the type of massive negative spin placed on Barkley's actions. It's caricature. He loses possession and doesn't regain it again that much? No problem with accepting that. But the language around this ad and the way he's portrayed is very exaggerated.

TBF he is a bit of a prancing show pony.
I used to love him, but don't rate him at the moment at all. Hope he can start pumping quality crosses in for Lukaku.

Deulofeu's move: Get the ball at his feet, get one on one with a defender, stop, then nick the ball past the defender with his toe and chase after it, attempt to cross but get closed down or tackled. He has nothing else in his locker, seemingly.

Then Bolasie's move, if you can call it that: Gets the ball in loads of space, instead of blasting forwards like any normal winger, he breaks into a half-jog, caressing the underside of his foot over the ball when a defender is in front of him, then either runs it out of play, kicks it out of play himself, or gets tackled.

Politician speak of the highest order that. Just admit when someone has a valid point rather than trying to stick to your principles (no need to go into this as the last 12 months everyone is aware of where you stand)

You would continue to argue with yourself if you were locked in a phone book on your own.

So there is no evidence available and then play the man?

Brilliant. Maybe just saying you or the other feller haven't got the evidence but that is your OPINION is a bit hard for you?

no need for evidence when you have already agreed the point so that puts that to bed. Bit slow on the uptake are we?

So thankful that we have the best PL manager of the year thus far.
