I would hope blues just want to see our team actually putting in some effort and looking interested. If RK gets them doing that (and I believe he will) am sure the fans will back him for ages. It's not gonna be an overnight transition, so hopefully blues will be patient in the rough times. After the last 2 seasons of dross, I am looking forward to seeing our team actually put a shift in!
 
Just read this post from a fellow Blue over at another place...

"Following on from the odd rumours emanating from Southampton fans, suggesting that Koeman isn't liked by the players and is basically lazy and disinterested.

I had a couple of pints with the dad of a Southampton first team player on Tuesday:
- Koeman is very popular and very well respected by the players
- Most of the players he signed there did so because of Koeman's name and reputation
- Players, such as Long, believe that they have improved because of Koeman
- Erwin Koeman is also very well respected and rated by the players
- He believes that backed with funds, our new manager will be a big success.

I'll leave out any of the more sensitive areas of discussion, re. players likely to follow Koeman to us, but it was good to hear so much positivity. "
