Which is what we need(ed) to improve though...

'Long-term planning' is great, but to do that successfully you need to bring in players of quality/in their prime to set a level (e.g. get us back into the top 6/7 - which is the aim).

Long-term planning is next to useless if you're finishing 11th season after season.

Are you a plant from the EFC PR department?

A man with as plan, indeed.
Rooney next manager, Bill crying and shaking as he welomes home the one he had to let go, no more dark rooms for Bill.
Rom sold, Rooney puts on his boots to save everton from the drop, scores last minute of the last home game....the golden days are ahead of us.

Roonelu Rookaku

Or, he's simply bigging up Lukaku and no other player who potentially may join us is actually going to care, more than likely because they don't actually care about a club they don't play for yet and to them it is just a job.

But okay, that's football.

That doesnt really make any sense. Bigging up Lukaku doesnt really serve much purpose especially if he is saying he wont achieve anything staying at Everton.

It may be lost in Translation but on the face of it his comments dont seem to serve any purpose beneficial to Everton.

Rather grim times, we need to build this stadium asap!

we are really falling behind! I would take mid table for a few years as long as we invested the money into a really good new stadium.

The perception of the club would improve ten fold with a boss new stadium on the docks, something to really feel proud of as the team is not fulfilling that at the moment sadly.
