Ronald Koeman discussion

Koeman has gone down a bit in my estimation with his comments.

Brutally true they may be, but I don't think he should be speaking about our players in such terms publicly. Although I'd like to see the context in which they were made.

Yes Lukaku could probably do better than this Everton but why don't we make Everton boss again and players like him will stay.

People constantly keeping little old Everton down won't help - certainly not our own manager FFS!

Have to say I cant see any benefit for Koeman making this statement. Really poor judgement shown by him here.

I dont know if he thinks by saying this it will spur Lukaku on to play better or something, but the message it basically sends is that for any player at Everton they should aim higher than Everton.

While this is realistic in some way, it is basically saying our current project will go no further than what we were under Moyes best days (best of the rest).

Furthermore what does this statement say to future potential signings? Other than that we are a stepping stone and our best players can go if a bigger club comes calling. Seems a bit small time doesn't it I'm sure the likes of Brahimi will be chomping at the bit to sign now.

This really poor judgement on Koemans, in fact it's more than that it's pathetic. Koeman should be bollocked in my opinion

We discussed the other day about us as a club having a complex and things like this prove that we do, it leaves a sour taste in the fans view and portrays to the media that players are better than the club.

Look at the RS, would you ever imagine a manager making that statement, no. They believe that they are at the best even though they know they are not. The fans, those mutant fans, are the same. We take the piss out of them but the complex is that they will always challenge because it's constantly fed to them that they are the biggest and greatest.

This club needs a overhaul of our outlook on the footballing world.

I'm going to be ultra critical of Koeman now, He thinks he's too good and too big for Everton then I suggest he gets his teams to show it on the field.

Sorry but Koemans got to win me back over now the pratt.
This.

I was a big Koeman fan, but not anymore.

Is this the type of thing to say to build morale after an absolute hammering (which his tactics helped achieve)?

Don't us Everton fans deserve to have good players, is that something reserved for a select number of clubs?

Moshiri on Talksport saying we need a big stadium to compete and we will compete. I hope he is on the phone right now bollocking that fat, ginger knobhead.
