Ronald Koeman discussion

I never know if you're serious, but it's spot on all the same.

His career > Everton's fortunes.

I'm exaggerating a bit but I'm not a fan of his. The major argument in his defence seems to be that we should worship him because of his playing career and the top names he's played for, but at this moment in time I couldnt really give a toss what he's done as a player.

He's a manager and he's done absolutely nothing as a manager to warrant the wage he's on and the reputation he seems to have built. He's an arrogant bell and he doesn't give a shiny one about Evertons long term goals.

I kind of agree. I find him hard to like.

Spot on that mate.

Shocking from the apologists here.

If Moyes or Martinez had explicitly said Lukaku was too good for us, we would have collectively lost our minds. It doesn't matter if it's true. What Moyes said about Fellaini and Baines was (at the time arguably) true. No one was ok with that. But because this fella won some trophies as a player and took Southampton to the dizzying heights of 6th we're supposed to lap it up.

Nah.

He should not have said it, his job is take Everton forward on and off the pitch, he has once again made us a laughing stock with some ill timed comments, we employ him to take us forward. unacceptable in my eyes.

Can't knock your opinion mate. However, I never believe the press. Especially the foreigners press in International weeek.

Imagine the amount of compensation we've got to pay him when we bin him off, will dwarf the Martinez pay off.

Overpaid compensation to Southampton and overpaying wages to an average manager that's done nothing of note.
Harsh Bungle,harsh.........but fair.

I'm not going to defend him because he's obviously bang out of order but perhaps there's more to it than meets the eye.
For instance let's say Rom is a bad apple. Something I've always suspected since he patted Martinez on the head after scoring one time. Shows a lack of respect that. But hey that's just me. But what if it were true and he wants him out? He can't drop him but he can put him in the shop window and say come and get him. He doesn't have to sulk in the reserves, he's none the wiser, probably happier and trying harder and Koeman can get a replacement in January.
Plausible? I do hope so otherwise he can f right off as far as I'm concerned.

He doesn't look like he's arsed about being here, lacks any real passion for the job. The warning signs were there when he could barely be bothered to miss a couple of days holiday to sign his deal and then immediately jumped back on a plane. Tit.

Yeah I get that impression....

I've mentioned this before but for me there's a strange atmosphere around the club at the moment and I can't put my finger on it
