Ronald Koeman discussion

Aye, we can't go too overboard, but I'm concerned at how many people have tried to justify it and pass it off as nothing. That sort of myopic interpretation of his statements can quickly turn to cult-think, and a whole new generation of Daveks and Prevengers are born

Justify, pass it off as nothing and start immediately down the wind up route against all the posters who disagree.

Some are total anti-davek posters basically just doing the same comedy role as he has been playing, but not as well.

If GOT was Nakatomi Plaza and John McClane was here, he would already be taking them out one by one.

Also really baffling how some are ignoring the fact that emery is in third place in the French league with a team that won the title by 31 points last season atm, and has managed to let arsenal somehow not finish in second place in a cl group.

May be a good manager but continues like this he'll be sacked before febuary.

A team that won the title last year by 31 points, that lost their star striker who scored 113 league goals in 117 games. 50 of which were last season, with a new Manager in a new Country in a new League. I find it really baffling that people can overlook that fact.

I know I didn,t want a Yes or a "on message" manager so I,m ok with this manager from that perspective alas certain results and performances aside. The truth hurts but it,s reality and untill the board deliver we will continue to pretend we are something we are clearly not in that respect.

So we can either go back to managers who do as they are told and keep the fans in the dark or except who we really are and try to break the glass ceiling by pushing the club owners to be something more than rearranging furniture in the front room twice a year.

It's not either/or. He can demand cash for the squad and keep his trap shut over what status he thinks this club has vis-a-vis others. He just chooses not to and that is a massive problem.

As said, he has a choice: stfu about how lowly we are in his obvious mental pecking order and get on with improving us, or open his massive grid again and again and be despised, and then we have disunity that no positive development can emerge from.

"Koeman is Koeman...he does what he wants". FFS. Has there ever been a more numb nuts attitude from an owner about the man they employ as manager? He sounds like that friggin beaut at Wimbledon a few years ago, Sam Hammam.

I've heard ( unconfirmed ) that he's been given the old 'Peaceful Hour' slot on Radio City now that he's got the taste for radio.
He is undecided on Lionel Richie or Chicago as his debut tune.

Watch this space.

Hahaha.

Mate I'm worried massively. Best thing the fans can do is try to stick together. It's about to get uglier.

Moshiri on Koeman's comments:

"Ronald Koeman said he believes Romelu will develop into one of the best strikers in the world in the next two to three years and wouldn’t be out of place at his old club, Barcelona."
It's never good when the Boss has to clarify what you "really meant".

Koeman has let him down with these misguided words.
