Ronald Koeman discussion

Some of the people in this thread would have been chuffing FURIOUS if they'd been around in the 1600's when William of Orange came over to take the throne

Why is the new King spending his time endorsing that new brand of carriages and saying that our best knight would be better served fighting for the Ottoman Empire instead of our own?

Someone in the royal court should inhibit his messenger from delivering notices to the populace!

Off with his head of communications!

Working overtime Ian?

That's a bit of a reach, equating Martinez bland moaning with Koeman running roughshod over our glorious history in a new Jaguar whilst on the phone to the Dutch FA to get his application in.
Not at all.

But never forget you're currently fuming about a football manager who shock horror would like to manage the country of his origin, whilst using his extremely high profile to get endorsements (welcome to 21sy century football FFS) all whilst endorsing a manager who won only 21 of his final 75 PL games in charge, meaning back to back bottom half finishes for the first time since the Walter Smith days and then took £10m out of the clubs coffers for the privilege of it.

Shameful really.

I'm more wait and see, so if in 4 months result haven't improved I'll be able to rest easy knowing I have the guy a chance.

Keep fuming though, it's great viewing. These have been the best international breaks for a good while.

Rolling heads galore.

you're pulling up the wrong poster here Ian. Sorry. I don't do fume. I believe a manager should be given a couple of seasons to see what they can do (barring something catastrophic). I agree the last boss had to go.

Koemoyes?

He is a bit Moyesy though, isn't he? At least for me so far. Hopefully it changes. Doesn't alter what I've said above.

More fumey is still being worked up enough to call the old boss a rat and being bothered by a manager getting their due pay off after having their contract terminated. As if taking what's due to them is any indication of a managers character, no matter how bloody crap most of those last two seasons were.

Then again I can't tell if these posters are actually still worked up about Martinez to that level, or they are really just continuing to let Davek get to them.

Not really.

If people stop flapping about everything then it is all storms and tea cups. Especially if we go and win at the weekend.

Just thinking about the way it is now to how it was a few months ago when It looked like we might actually achieve something, before the defeats to Bournemouth, burnley, and a draw against palace.
