Ronald Koeman

Ronald Koeman...good choice for us?

  • yes, he'll get us top 6 and stability

  • no, it's uninspiring even if top 6 is back on

  • josé on toast

It's a fair question and one literally everyone but our own fans is asking.

The ambition in this thread is a sight to behold.
A red in the dugout.
A mid-table manager replacement.
Looking forward to Koeman raising the 6th place trophy for the next 4 years

So we have a crap manager for 2 seasons and all of a sudden we are below Soton, our squad is better than theirs, Martinez has not clouded my judgement of the players.

Where have Soton finished in the league over the last 10 years compared to us?

A selling club against a club with a better squad and 150m to spend for a new manager, yeah he'll stay at Soton for sure won't he if he's asked to join us.

If you was offered a better manager than Poch would you take him?

Because that's what the Soton fans think and they are well placed to know.

i would hope koeman could make stones into a proper defender who knows when to play and when to hoof it.
also would want him to bin sammy lee and make unsworth his assistant.

Objectively speaking, Southampton to Everton is a managerial sideways step - currently - based on realistic achievable goals and recent league finishes.

History matters little, but if Moshiri is willing to stump up big money for Koeman, that will be the clincher in any potential deal.

Totally disagree, we have a better squad, rich owner willing to fund, new stadium on the way.

Koeman will jump at the chance, there is a reason he's let his contract run down, he's already looking for a bigger club and bigger budget, well hello, here we are.

Yes...but they might have the Thursday Night Cup to screw up their season lol

Every major paper has run with this on their back page, I can't remember us ever going after a player/manager that was currently at another club like this before
