Why do some of our fans focus on the negatives and not the positives.

With Koeman there are an awful lot of negatives.

Well, we saw how bad we were. He could't beat a poor Everton side.

I'm not judging Koeman on a game against us. I look at the overall picture

He beat the rs, spurs away, man city, man u away, battered arsenal. He not perfect and he was fuming with the draw at goodsion where Martinez was praising the team.

One thing bugging me, and I know it's petty, is that Martinez' Everton side beat Koeman's Southampton side twice last year.

If it makes you feel any better he beat city 4-2, Arsenal 4-0, Spurs away 2-1,won at old Trafford back to back, beat Liverpool from 2-0 down and was fuming when he only drew at Goodison when lesser managers would of took a point.

I think some people need to seriously check themselves before they wreck themselves.

I think we should count ourselves lucky if we land Koeman. Imagine if he and Emery both turn us down... you'll be wishing we'd landed him then.

Isn't a wise idea to look at both when considering candidates? Especially if choosing between a few?

Once one is announced I'm all for getting behind them fully and looking forward rather than back but we're not at that stage as far as I'm aware.

Yep but he not perfect, if we got Emery his lack of premiership experience and lack of English made me nervous but the positives override those and the same applies to Koeman.

Man u and city have minor concerns with their new mangers so does the rs with klopp who seems to lose all his finals

I have looked at both and also stated my concerns on Koeman but fans on here are already decided he not good enough.

If only some of our fans who are criticising Koeman or described him as 'meh' were as quick to realise how bad Martinez was we may have forced that issue earlier and not been in this mess.
