All kidding aside. Just been reading the Sunday Mirror News Editors timeline, and he's delighted that this story is breaking 2 days before a big game for the lad. Saying that Rooney has to face the music. What the flip has it got to do with the Sunday Mirror who he sleeps with?

You may not like Rooney, you may not like England - but the principles of these newspapers is all wrong. They will mess with his head, and then criticise him when he plays poorly. Are they the most stupidest people on the planet?

Then they act like they are doing us all a favour by letting us know?

Everything is about the benjamins mate, but these weapons will want England to win the Euros, but then do their utmost to disrupt them and then blame everyone apart from themselves for their demise.

It's not stupid, it's a circle of prosperity for them. Leak bad news -- sell papers. Report on the subsequent bad news -- sell papers.

It's horrid really, you're right. But the only "principles" the UK media have our those pioneered by the great Rupert Murdoch. Money, money, money.

No it's stupid. Reporting on a footballer sleeping with a hooker. Who cares? People will buy the paper regardless, the damage done is far worse.

Imagine how many papers they would sell if they reported on Rooney having a blinder and scoring a hat trick in a final? Then they say "Back the Boys". Pathetic.

Hate to break it to you, but the media I'm this county only build people up to knock them down, people like Wayne are easy targets.

AND, you're forgetting. Half the population are women. Most of them don't give two monkeys about football, but they love gossip. And Wayne cheating on their favourite wag, and ITV7 host, whatshername? OUTRAGE! :P

Has this story just happened has it? Or have they waiting until now to release it?
 
I've got to admit, as untrustworthy as the media is, I'm not willing to have a go at them here.

Their job is to report on public figures acting like dickheads other wise theres no checks and ballance on them, now I'm with you that Wayne Rooney isn't the same as Dave Cameroon, and arguably we shouldn't care how big a dick he is. But if the media give him good press in interviews and then cover up any proof of him acting dodgy, then they become his PR company. It's just not their job to cover up stories that will make them money in order to help the England team.

If Rooney's game will be effected by this, well then maybe he shouldn't have shagged a prostitue.
