Ross Barkley joins Chelsea, er, Villa on loan

This is why its entirely his fault we got a lower fee and he pocketed more.

Wouldn't you want to leave if you felt the club you support and love have been trying to push you out of the club by buying 3 people that can play your position? He is human at the end of the day and not saying it is right, but maybe this is his bit of revenge for how he has been treated by the club. He is still young and clearly thinks with his emotions from what I have seen and read in the past.

I’m not gonna slate the lad for moving on because I’m bigger than that. I wish Ross the best of luck and hope he has good times dawdling on the ball before falling on his arse for Chelsea reserves.

Sky Sports had a career highlights section on Ross - his Everton debut in 2011, then goals and awards in 2013-14.

...then a goal for England against some Eastern European no marks...

...then tumbleweeds...

...then his last goal for Everton nearly a year ago.

Says it all really - he peaked in 2013/14 and has not developed as a footballer since.

I hope he realises Chelsea have signed him to make up their number of English players.
