He will do very well this season playing week in week out, very good signing that is, I think you’ll be surprised at how good he actually is, don’t listen to these idiots calling him [Poor language removed]

We watched him for years. I don't think we will be surprised at all.

He hasn't kicked on one bit since leaving us, hence why he's being loaned to a relegation favourite.

I was talking to the villa fan, Barkley would get in our midfield over Gomes, who runs like he’s underwater. When Ross is playing week in week out without his every move getting over analysed they will see the best out of him

I think he has, just not to the level we thought he'd initially get to. The general reaction from Chelsea fans seems to be a bit disappointed he's been loaned out as he's viewed as a good squad player and bench option... more so than RLC at least.

He could be a combination of Diego Maradona and Ronaldo and I still wouldn't want that mouth breathing snake anywhere near this football club.

And also Gomes is a better footballer than Ross. As he'll show now he's surrounded by decent players in a side playing good football.
 
Very good signing for Villa. Under appreciated footballer I felt by the national selectors and critics.. he contributed plenty in his time with us.. bad move that one to Chelsea..

I’ll be honest..Would I have him back? No.. But I‘ll stick my neck out and say I feel he offers more than Gomes does in that role and would be very good with Allan and Doucoure... anyway.. that’s ship has sailed and looks like Barkley is needing to fix his as it’s been leaking water for some time
