Ross Barkley joins Chelsea, er, Villa on loan

He’s seen the claret and blue kit and probably thinks he’s teaming up with Moyes again
He signed for Chelsea after he got confused by the blue shirts and thought they were Everton.

Then he’s realised that it’s actually Chelsea because they have a massive 3 on the front.

Now he’s sorted it and he’s signed for actual Everton because Everton has Cazoo on the front.

Not true. He can't count that high.

Looks like the decline has started for the lad. Always liked Ross Barkley and felt he linked up well with Lukaku, to be honest. I think the majority of Everton fans kind of expected things to go pear-shaped for him at some stage once he left us, but going out on loan to Aston Villa is a bit of a surprise.

He will do very well this season playing week in week out, very good signing that is, I think you’ll be surprised at how good he actually is, don’t listen to these idiots calling him [Poor language removed]
yep, it's been a while since we have made a signing of this "quality". and TBH he fits in pretty perfectly with the ambitions our owners have for the club. now, how good will he be? that is up for discussion. Also likely to make his debut vs the rs on Sunday.

oh and I completely understand that feeling. Its very similar to when Delph left us for City and ended up with y'all.

He played in and won a Europa League Final. He also won the FA Cup. He spent time playing CL football. Ok, no he was never a key player in the Chelsea side, but let's not act like it was a bad career move for him. He's basically done Fabian Delph in reverse. Should Delph not have gone to City?

Yes, our club is now approaching a level to go places Villa won't be soon, but we aren't there yet, so let's keep ourselves in check.
