Understandable, but a bit petty. I'm sure I've done it with other players like, although I think/hope they were more deserving of it.

Bad bad management from Conte. Regardless of how good he is, he hasn't played this season and shouldn't be in a cup semi.

Funny stat though, his last game before this he came on for about an hour as a sub and played gash in a loss to Arsenal.

Agree but his levels Everton. He simply isn't good enough to be a starter for a top 3/4 side.

Not good enough defensively in the tackle/work rate to be a CDM and not decisive and quick thinking enough to be a no 10.

He'll be at a West Ham in 3 seasons time guaranteed.

Rubbish, it’s this or a prem game or CL if they’re still in it. Like the lad as a footballer but he stunk the place out tonight and that game had less tempo than most
