Ross Barkley joins Chelsea, er, Villa on loan

Chelsea obviously thought they were getting a bargain, but even with the £15M price, plus a massive £7M paid to the agent. Not such a bargain after all.

Koeman did nothing here, absolutely nothing. He certainly added nothing to Barkley's game.
 

He's got no chance to play regular football under Conte. He's got zero tactical awareness and is not clever enough. Conte's football is too complicated for him to settle.

His only chance is when they sack him, but I stand by my prediction - he'll never be a top class footballer.

I don’t know about that Dave , they have silver cutlery in Liverpool as well , because that’s the only silverware ROSS will be holding above him head.
Chelsea are a buisness now and with the new stadium to pay for they won’t be able to compete with the 2 Manchester clubs

So his best chance of a trophy this season and he’s not arsed , fair enough Dave you know best.
He’s going to concentrate on the league and overhaul City.
Or maybe he’ll get past the like of Barca , City , Bayern PSG and win the CL
Or maybe he’ll put all his eggs into the FA cup.

Conte will be at Chelsea until May.

He's not interested in anything other than getting top four and doing well in the CL so it maintains his credentials as a top class coach. Then he'll be gone in May. He doesn't want to be there. The LC was less than nothing to him.

This is not true. He played 36 games in the league last season (4 as sub) which was joint 2nd with Williams, 1 game behind Lukaku.
