Ross Barkley joins Chelsea, er, Villa on loan

I'l tell you what lads; Barcelona couldn't get near Barkley tonight!
He's looking like 15 million quid well spent for Chelsea. Or is that 20 million quid badly lost for us?
Perhaps he could move across that cesspit of a capital city to Arsenal and his career will take off just like Franny Jeffers' did.
Next stop Grimsby, if he shows the necessary commitment in training of course.

I know he's meant to be injured or something (seen it on the Uefa site last night) but watching this match only further drives home that Barkley made a horrendous choice in footballing terms. He gets nowhere near this Chelsea side, in fact his best bet is for Conte to get sacked and Chelsea to appoint a manger with an English bias because talent wise he's simply not good enough for a side wanting to win the league and Champions League.

Might seem harsh to write him off after such little game time but I just don't see where he fits in at Chelsea.

But lads on here said he’d walk into any top six side , they couldn’t have been wrong could they.
I never wanted him to leave but would never want him back.
He’ll be the next Jon Jo Shelvey at Swansea or West Ham

He wasn't injured. They had an open training session a few days ago and he was in full first team training and confirmed eligible.

He was bought for quotas/investment through their own admission - they shouldn't lose money on him because the game has 'gone'.

He's got there, Conte saying he's in great physical condition but he needs time to mentally adjust to his tactics.
