Ross Barkley joins Chelsea, er, Villa on loan

Ross and Rom both joined champion league sides and we're laughing at them.

Evertonians are a weird bunch.

Nah. He needs a manager who can build his confidence up and hand him some game time.

A good pre-season he needs.

So Conte is the problem here and not Barkley? You mean 5 x league winning manager Conte? who also played on one of the finest sides in Europe and went on to be a massive managerial success.

He is the problem here, not basket case, sensitive flower, massive under-achiever, nightclub brawler and alleged gangster target Ross Barkley? lol

Oh my! sometimes some of you really surpass yourselves!

Do you just type the daftest pile of manure that comes into your head?

He'll do well with Rafael and help Newcastle get promoted in 2 years' time
He was the best young English midfielder two or three years back and rightly capped by England. He's a class player and still young enough to be taken on by a manager who knows wtf he's doing and turned into a top player. He has all the tools to be that.

Think he's lost his tool bag mate.

At some point in a man's life, the adjectives used to describe "potential" turn sour. I sincerely wish Ross the best, and wished it could have happened with EFC, but from what I can tell he's well past his sell-by date.

How on earth do you come to that conclusion? He's 24.

Last season he was our best player, even though he had that nobhead Koeman on his back. He's had an injury to deal with and will need time to get back up to speed - by which time that arsehole Conte will be back in Italy and Chelsea will get a manager who hopefully for RB's sake will use him wisely.

Exactly.

24 is too early to be giving up on him but time is running out.

He's a bad penny.

I am pretty sure all the managers who have ignored him recently for his country did that for a reason.

Some seem pretty keen on blaming absolutely everybody but Ross Barkley himself for some bizarre reason.
