Am I the only one completely not arsed about how he left the club and who holds no grudge at all ?
I don't care either. All I want is for any player, pulling on the blue shirt is to give their all when playing. I actually don't care if we sign him or not. But if we do I will judge him on what he does on the pitch. Everyone hated Rooney when he left. Then he came back and everyone loved him again.

Couldn't care less Koeman forced him out and he wanted to go because he is a mad head, he was already on the wane too. I wouldn't be averse to bringing him back as a squad player if we are desperate as he still has skills we lack in terms of creativity, but I would want better obviously...
Utter myth that Koeman forced him out.
Ratboy was interviewed in the Guardian shortly after Koeman was dismissed and he was full of praise for how the Dutchman had improved his game and expressed sympathy for his sacking.
I don’t think Koeman demanded he remove his Everton tat either despite a red crimbo tree.

Eh? We’d agreed a deal to sell him on deadline day and he declined it, sat on his arse pretending to be injured for the next 4 months and then as soon as the January window opened signed for Chelsea for £20m less and was suddenly immediately fit. Fella is a rat and an absolutely crap player also which it’s important to stress.

I did not want Rooney back and did not love him when he did. It was an embarrassment for the club and fan base and showed how truly small time we had become.

Initially I was all for taking him as a number 8/10, but if Frank is going with 3-5-2, dele is the obvious choice to play up top with dcl. Gordon iwobi and gray are then competing to be the more forward player in centre mid. Not much point in bringing barkley in if that's the case.

There was an inevitability that Rooney would return and he came back with a point to prove and I personally think we could have gotten another season out of him had we managed his aging legs better. He didn't have the engine he once had but he could still score a screamer and he gave a crap.
Ross isn't a Rooney, he doesn't have his mentality. I don't think for a second Ross would come back looking for redemption, desperate to show Chelsea what they'd lost and to win back Evertonians. He'd just coast it and collect a wage, Have the occasional good game but that's it.

Yip would deffo take 11 goals from a free transfer right now!

Like a lot of our midfield, they turn it on in flashes or for 45mins.

When you look back at players like Reid, Barry, Bracewell they gave it full gun every game for 90mins. They died on the hill this lot today just want to look good trying for 10 mins.
