Ross Barkley

Pretty pathetic that our manager has to go before the press to answer these questions. Unedifying doesn't cover it.

Fair enough. I think he wants to come to City otherwise this dance wouldn't be going on.

As for the Ronaldo analogy, maybe doing that with a nearing thirty left back is fair enough, but if I was an Everton supporter I wouldn't want to hear that in relation to Ross. Nobody was ever going to pay silly money for Baines, but someone will for Barkley. Makes the situation very very different IMO.
Nope I think your basically basing your opinion on one comment and taking as gospel whilst 99% of us Blues can see the comment for what it is. I actually laughed a bit as well when you said "I think he wants to come to City" even though I know you were being genuine. What I shall do is leave this conversation for now and if it all happens and he signs for you I will say fair play mate. I don't want to come across as patronising and belittling your club by saying the above and laughing about him signing for you. Money talks so I guess if you throw 200k a week at a young lad he would be interested. My viewpoint is if he does sign it's all for the love of money but I guess you know that as that's why 90% of players would go there in the first place. All the best for the rest of the season apart from when you face us of course ;)

Yawn.

My ITK Utd colleague at work has told me they're signing Barkley and McCarthy in the summer and my ITK Chelsea colleague at work has told me they're signing Coleman in January.

We're not gonna have any players for next season lads, we're doomed!

I hope he is sensible about it, he gives us this season and next. If we don't qualify for champions league or win stuff I would not begrudge him moving.

At this moment in time he is best sticking with us, hopefully we can progress as a club so he can fulfill hos dreams with us as captain.

Amen to all of the above mate. I would say a bare minimum of 2 seasons and I think all his objectives can be achieved with us as well ;)

Even kenwright wouldnt be foolish enough to consider any bids for barkley or stones over the next few years, he knows he'd get lynched, we're not that club anymore

Taking into account the inflated market and the fact that it's Citeh and they have gazzilions AND the fact Barkley is the future of English football etc etc... £75 MILLION.

Won't pay it? Do one.

All I need this morning with a slightly self induced headache and sickness is some arrogant supporter from a newly rich club making out like it's inevitable one of europes hottest prospects who loves and supports the club he's playing for is desperate to join them and our club is looking to sell, based only of course on his ITK status.

F'off [swear word] it's far to early on a Sunday morning for wind ups.

It all sounds like a bit of wishful thinking by Citeh fan

and Seamus, we will have no team soon, get a grip Kenwright ffs.

No mate, Seamus is apparently off to Chelsea in January. Arsenal have pulled out of that one now and it's all on for Chelsea in January. And if it's not done in January then it will Deffo be the summer. And of its not done in the summer that's only because when he was about to sign his aunty Sheila called him up to say she needed help with her shopping so he had to get off from signing his contract sharpish and the deal fell through.
