You wish you had owners like ours you absolute no mark. If you can't have a grown up conversation about football without resorting to sounding like a prepubescent teenage girl screaming Harry Styles will never have girlfriend, then maybe you should stick to talking to people of a similar intellect and leave the grown ups to have grown up conversations.
If the end result of winning the Arab lotto is having beauts like you patronising fans of famous clubs like ours, then you can stick it up your hoop. Take your condescending waffle elsewhere you boring tool

We wish do we? You scruffy insignificant pube lad. Do we look like we wish we did? So we can call fans of clubs that have won loads more than our own no marks?

Check them swerving relegation for a few years. Well done, you da man!

Come and show that confidence aroind Goodison you insecure little cocktard and we will take great delight in slapping your faux confidence out of you. A couple of title wins don't hide what your club is: desperate try too hard sell out tramps.

Bet you're dead proud, or you could have just won it organically and gained some respect.

Now pipe down before you I make you piss your pants like I'd do in person too.

I see this quite often on GOT. The whole persecution complex about your players being linked with other clubs. I don't understand why you find it so upsetting and so ridiculous. You're not a top 4 club and as such you have to accept that if/when top 4 clubs come knocking you generally end up selling. For every one Baines situation, there's loads of Lescotts, Fellainis, Rooneys etc.

Within the context of the current crop of players, it stands to reason that Barkley is the one who is getting the most press because he's English and he has the most potential. The likelihood of you keeping hold of him for any significant amount of time is pretty slim if we go off what has happened in the past both at Everton and around the league.

....we're not that naïve to deny the inevitability of top clubs being linked with our players. In a way its a reflection that we are doing well. If a player truly wants out when the big boys call its almost inevitable they will leave (RM said last summer that he doesn't want players who have a preference to be elsewhere). The question is whether the Chairman accepts a bid without pressure from the player concerned.

At this point in time Barkley is exhibiting no interest in a move. That situation is likely to change but the feeling is he genuinely thinks his development at the moment is best progressed here.

Eggs, your the voice of reason since time ( on GOT ) began.

Martinez accepted, however, that every player ultimately does have their price.

'If you are going to lose a player for three times over the market value I am sure that the football club would be in a better state,' he said.

Rodgers words.....

I suspect because City have an eye on January. With the potential of Toure going to the ACON, Lampard going to New York, and Ross not being cup tied for the CL. Also simply because transfers of this size take time to negotiate.

As for Kengwright talking to other clubs, I'm sure he'll talk to whoever gets in touch with him. I can only speak of City's current talks.
The way they are going city will be out of the champions league come January and he will cup tied in the Europa league. Joking apart I think the best thing that ever happened to us is how rodwell's career stagnated (like a lot of English talent at city). That and fellianis experience at united, has clearly had an impact on Baines committing his future to the club. Lets face it Baines, stones and Barkley are going to be regulars for england their development is hardly being hindered playing 'plucky everton punching above their weight'. I think a big statement was made by the club within the last year when Baines, Coleman Barkley, lukaku and stones committied themselves to the club. We have a very talented core of young, hungry and happy players who love playing for the club.
I hope I'm not wrong, Barkley does seem a level headed lad who loves nothing more then playing for us (Martinez said so himself). Even Steven Gerrard said to Barkley when he was called up to the England squad "that you're at a club that will allow you to develop and there is nothing better then playing for your hometown club." My only worry in all of this is not Ross wanting to leave, but kenwright wanting the sale to help fund the stadium.

Go Chico, tell him straight la.

Is it the behaviour of an intelligent adult to be signing up to opposing clubs' forums and spending hours trying to convince people that, despite your lack of substantive evidence, your club will be purchasing their best player before long and that they're deluded for thinking otherwise?

To be honest whenever I've been to Goodison nearly all the Evertonians I've met have been sound as. Sat with them a couple of seasons ago.

Thankfully didn't come across a single prepubescent gobshite no mark like your good self. Still you keep flexing on the internet lad.

That's because you wouldn't have been condescending them like you're brave enough to do on the internet you queg.

Don't forget your place and we can return to normalities. I'd have no problem in saying this to your face either, call me on it.

Its not a persecution complex mate, we all know he could be sold if a eye watering amount of money was put on the table. Its your insistance that he WILL be sold soon and he WANTS to go to City that is irking people. If a fan of another club come on one of your forums claiming that about one of your players, or our fans said it about another teams player then im sure you'd see the same reaction.

It's rare in October that players exhibit any outward signs of discontent. Especially in a situation like this where they've come through the club's academy and are local lads. You have to look at it from the other side, how quickly would the Everton crowd turn on Barkley if he were to publicly say "yeah Champions League football is important to me even if that means having to leave my boyhood club".
