Watched the game sunday in a football club lounge after playing in a charity game in kent. Wanted to know what role City fans think he'd play in their team that makes them so convinced they will buy him and since the Other Blues is no more I went onto Bluemoon.

Most of them don't seem to know how they would use him themselves, few see him breaking into the first team regularly and if he does they think he'd replace YaYa Toure, probably in a 442. Although a lot seem to think they are buying Pogba as well for the same role.

Half their desire to buy him seems to stem from wanting to snap him up before Chelsea/Man Utd do rather than actually thinking he'd improve their current team.

Tbh he only has to look at Lukaku or Deulofeu - despite being talented players neither could break into the first team of their parent clubs and their managers both distrusted them because of their lack of defensive workrate.

Ross has already had a year of mostly sitting on the bench for the same reason under Moyes and even Hodgson has moaned about him giving the ball away. In contrast Martinez accepts it as the price of developing a promising talent and instead will just structure the team so that there is cover behind to mop up most of the mistakes.

Personally think Ross has his eye on making a big splash in the Euros, similar to Rooney and Gazza, and if he does that he won't be short of huge money offers if he wants them. To do that though he has to improve several aspects of his game and get selected for the team which is hard to do if he isn't playing regularly.

Horrible bunch, and unless they live outside of Manchester, they must walk round with their eyes closed....worst City in the country for Crime / poverty / unemployed / immigrants.
