Ross Barkley

So who would sell him for £60 m.?
Seeing how Spurs and the Red [Poor language removed] have managed after selling their stars makes me think no.

I don't want him sold or condoning it, but if we were to sell him it would be before we become over reliant on him like the RS and Spuds did with there t

Ross has immense potential and is currently a technically brilliant player. Let me just say that first.

Now. While Ross has ability, is he anywhere near the level of Bale or Suarez? No.

Are we at all reliant on Ross like Spurs were with Bale or even more so, the RS with Suarez? No.

We're not going to plummet if he does go. I want him to stay, but we're not finished if he doesn't.

When Barkley gets sold we'll bring back Rooney to reduce the outcry. In fact a deal with Utd would simplify this happening. Rooney plus £30m in summer 2016........

Nobody is going to pay 60 million for him. But 60 million would get you Firmino, Cabaye and Depay, and I would have no problem swapping Barkley for the acquisition of three players of their quality. I think the Barkley money will be used to build a new stadium anyway.

Don't want that ballboy bothering nonce anywhere near Goodison again

its a odd situation. we could us that money to buy two or three big players, like BIG and could completely re-vamp the team and its objectives, but you lose a true blue, with the potential to being priceless!

Well I'm more interested in seeing Everton win points and prizes, rather than cutting my own nose to spite my face, so I'd quite happily have him at Everton, and so would you as soon as he scored a single goal for the club.

A creative, attacking midfielder like Cabaye would take us to the next level, no doubt.

Would we be able to attract "big" players? The RS clearly couldn't with the money the got for Suarez and they had champions league football to offer.

We'd certainly be able to upgrade some of the squad players but we'd be spreading it thinly, it would be a real conundrum to consider.

This has City press release written over it. They're not going to be challenging for the title, so they're back to trying to keep their fans happy by linking themselves to players.

There is some players that could be upgraded, but in truth i think we got a few stars in the making that we should build around. i think if we let coleman, stones, ross, james and rom (even besic) stay together just for another 2 seasons, they will grow together and that could pay huge dividends one day, maybe slot in a few players around them, id spend our whole transfer budget just on Deulofeu in next window.

then we would have a big section of our first team as young starlets. they could grow together or be sold separately but the club would be in a good position for the next few years!
