If it was a nice friendly kick about it wouldn't be doing him much good.

Great to see him involved in meaningful games imo. All good experience.

At least he got 90 minutes under his belt.

From the little I've read - well, the fact they got beat 1-3 at home by Huddersfield - it doesn't strike me he had that much of an impact.

Still, it's all part of his learning curve. The lad needs games and he isn't instantly going to turn into Pele.

It's a bit of a cliche, but he's probably learnt more tonight than he would do in 10 EFC Reserve games at Finch Farm combined.

Some swfc fan was ****ging him off on twitter saying 'the new wayne rooney? lolol'
Great, why do we bother helping them out? It's 'great' they have given him a chance to shine ...not

The Championship in a nutshell that.

This has always been my problem with this loan.

Arguably, the bigger problem is that they're newly promoted & quite sh*te, which means Ross will be with moral-shot relegation fodder for a month.

I don't think he's learning anything from this myself that wouldn't be learned 10x more effectively with training at Everton but hey hum, we'll see.

supposedly the whole team were ****e though, and other fans agreeing he was poor but admitted he was one of the minority at least comfortable of the ball. Apparantly his corners never beat the first man which was what let him down really, they've admitted it will take him some time.

Not surprised really the pressure is far far more, even for lower league sides

A bit of a baptism of fire for him. I think it will do him some good. He's not playing in the ressies any more, the stakes are much higher now. It's up to him to prove to himself and Moyes that he can realize his potential.

I was at the Wednesday game last night, Ross had a very quiet game but it wasn't all his fault because Wednesday were awful throughout, the first 45 minutes passed him by as Wednesday by passed the midfield altogether and to be fair Ross looked a bit nervous with the few touches he did get.

Second half he improved made some nice passes but didn't look as convincing as he did playing for us, all in all though its a team game and Wednesday were awful he was never gonna shine in this game.
