No he shouldnt. But nor should people in their numbers be getting on his back about 30 seconds in.
That is absurd and frankly atrocious.
He's young, and lacking confidence.
His performances have been poor and his desire seems to be lacking at times.
But he gets more boos and heckles than the opposition players and I don't think that that is right.

I think we make a lot of sticking him on the left as the reason. It wasn't. He was just playing poorly in too many games. You can stick Sterling on the right/left/center/up front and he would still look a quality player.
If you actually look at his whoscored ratings he has a higher rating out left than in the center but the truth is all his ratings have been very average. Cosistently in the 6.x range. With only one or two in the 8.x which frankly a top class player should be in 50% of the time. His ratings have also been consistently below Naismith and most of our other players.
The fact is he hasn't been playing well enough and shouldn't have been played for so long. Martinez waited until the fans where on his back rather than taking him out early and taking the flack for doing that but protecting the player.
What does this mean for the future. At the moment he's like one of those kids in class that the teachers think could have the potential to get As but is consistently getting Cs. His report card would read "Must try harder".
He didn't make the same mistake with Rom. After Rom looked a bit laboured for a few games he dropped him and since has come back a changed player putting far more effort in and Rom is arguably far more important.

Roberto is supposed to play this lovely passing game but for some reason he's bought or persists with a lot of players that can't pass.
