The team has not exactly made it easy for moyes, when was the last time we were comfy in a game where it would of made it easier to bring him on?? Our games always seem to be on a knife edge, even when were dominating!!

Surely Neville and vic can't play twice in 3/4 days coming back from injury. Well not 90mins anyway so hopefully the lad will see some action against Wigan at least.

To be fair, if every manager waited till their team were 4-0 up before taking the risk of playing a young player we'd still be seeing 40 year olds playing regularly cause they only got a game once every 2 years.
 
Moyes has never made a Sub for the sake of it.

If the team is doing well he likes to keep them on, if the team is doing badly he likes to keep them on in the "hope" they can turn it around.

Whilst this no doubt pisses people off and its pissed me off at times, its how he rolls.

No one ever makes a sub for the sake of it, every sub has some value.

Quite how else players are going to get game time without actually starting i don't know. And how players are going to be ready to start without getting sub games first i don't know.

His use of subs is pretty bloody awful for the best manager in the world really.

This - he was called back from a productive loan spell and hasn't been given a chance. Surely there was someone else at finch farm with a pulse who could've kept the bench warm while he was out getting valuable games.
 
Stupid decision to bring him back, he would have benefitted alot more playing lots of matches over Christmas, especially considering we're getting to the business end now where every point counts.

It's a farce having him sit on the bench when Moyes will use square pegs for round holes, play players out of position and even give gametime to some lads who shouldn't be here.

Don`t you think its important he`s on the bench as an option given that our squad is quite thin at the moment though?
 

As was said (by Moyes) at the time, he was brought him back due to the injuries & he is likely to go back out on loan after January. Hopefully to a club higher than Wednesday (my addition)

didn't realise he said that. Fair enough. Looking forward too him getting some games then.
 
To be honest, at the time we had 3 midfielders out and it looked like he would get some game time, but we recalled him just as everyone was getting fit again.

He'll go out on another loan in January, and as Blake said, hopefully one who aren't fighting relegation 24/7.
 
It would probably help the lad if we as fans, had the same patience he is showing as a young player.
All good things come to those who wait!
