i dont believe the title of this thread and i cant believe some of the comments on here , say he had started and had a bad game people would have battered him on here . honestly moyes cant win , the best thing for ross is to go back out on loan because he can develop and make the mistakes and perhaps not get punished for them like he would in the prem . dont rush himand dont write his everton career off before its even began .

Why this obsession with some kid who doesn't even look that useful?

Absolutely nothing has changed since then. He's the most gifted footballer to emerge at Everton since Rooney and all you need is a pair of eyes to see it.

Judging him from 10 minutes against the European champions in a misshapen side is stupid. He needs a proper run in the side and increasingly regular minutes to improve.

He's being massively mishandled in my view and it's definitely worth discussing.

Behave, you're questioning the managers judgement after he's just steered the club past a potential banana skin, with a 5-1 win. Just what was Ross going to learn at a league 2 side btw?

I'm questioning the managers judgement regarding player development, which is nothing to do with the 5-1 win.

Crazy thought i know, but maybe the manager who watches him in training every week knows whether he's ready or not.

The lad is 19 years old. The injury he suffered not so long ago practically set his development back a year. He's way younger than most 'young' Premier League players.

Also it saddens me that some people have actually been kicking off about this, having barely seen him play. Who are THEY to judge whether he's good enough ?

I agree mate. He'll get his chance if he's good enough. It's very simple.

This, Moyes just being a stubborn fcuk with him.

Hitz has experience and pedigree coming back from injury. Hes also eying up an extension.

Gueye puts effort in. He also takes instructions well... Just physically hes not up to it with his stamina.

Moyes will see them in training and will see whos improving and who wants it more.

Vellios didn't get out either. Hes more worthy of a run out than any them imo.

Hitzlsberger ball control is solid. He can pick a cross or a pass with precision and skill. He's a good signing. Not the best ever but a solid 70-75 out of 100, and those players are useful in a squad as slim on big names as ours
