...........I think this says it all. Can't believe the hype, I sincerely hope I'm wrong but the clamour to play this boy has been unfair to the lad. Because we aren't a buying club it's understandable that fans are desparate for a superstar to come through but as I've said on numerous occasions if this player was good enough he wouldn't be on loan!!

To be specific you said if he was going to be the next big thing he wouldn't be on loan to a lower division side, despite the fact that half of the England team from the last couple of world cups went out on loan early in their careers.

Absolute garbage to imply that because a young player is on loan that they're not going to be good enough.

yeah difference being they were sent out to get match practice for a season and as soon as they went back they got into the first team at premier league level.

barkley is being loaned out on 1 month deals to pretty much any team that will take him, first wednesday now leeds whose next, and still has no hope of breaking in the first team.

and lets not go on about how he is still a kid, lampard gerrard wilshire milner were all pulling out full seasons at premier league level by the time they were his age.

Your arse, you're talking out of it.

Barkley's deal with Wednesday only ended because we had an injury crisis, otherwise he would have stayed there.

Pretty sure getting sent out for match practice is exactly why Moyes sent him out on loan, how are those other players any different ?

Lampard went on loan to Swansea were he played 9 games, then played 2games in his first Season and 13 in his next.
Wilshire played 1 game in his first Season and 1 game in his 2nd Season and was then loaned out to Bolton..

Milner isnt even a CM.

So none of those players played more games than Barkley has at 19 Years of age.
