Our team at the minute looks like they're drained of energy, why not stick a young energetic midfielder into the team? Someone with a bit of bite and desire to do well which I have no doubts Ross has. I have called him Jose Baxter the second before but I would love nothing more than for him to come out and prove me wrong. The lad conceded a penalty last year and has barely had a sniff since.

Mate, dont say play Barkley on here. "hes not ready" you will get neg repped. Whilst the likes of Neville and Hitzlsperger will play before him, Osman and Pienaar are nackered. Oviedo and Naismith continue to underperforme but Ross cant play, he not ready it will ruin him as a player.

All of the above has been said throughout this thread.

The side is actually crying out for some freshness. Barkley is it!

This. Completely agree. He looks such a useful player.

If he was English and was called Joey Smith, the media would never shut up about him and he would be hyped up more than Barkley.
