If you're not playing well and doing stupid things because you're not ready, then you need dropping.

If he isn't getting in the first team ahead of Fellaini then we might as well send him out on loan rather than leaving him on the bench every week.

It's not so much the penalty, as you say, that happens to everyone. It's that he doesn't look very good.
Looks like he needs five minutes to decide what to do with the ball. Rabbit in headlights and all that.

Moyes wasn't just 'dropping' him. He made a pretty vital defensive mistake, whether they scored or not is irrelevant, so Moyes sent him away to work on the defensive side of his game, so he can become a good all round player. Good management IMO.

He's only a young lad, you don't expect him to perform miracles every match do you? Playing him and keeping patient will help him adapt into the team.

Absolutely, because he offers nothing to the team. Barkley is an exciting talent that we all want to see in action.

Honestly mate sometimes you just have to hold your hand up when your talking nonsense and I think you need to do so here. He gave away a penalty. WOW. The best defenders in the world give away penaltys. All this talk about Moyes sending him away to work on his "defensive game" that's just not true.
