If he does go this season will have been expectation management..imagine the protests and more people going against the board if he plays, shows what a talent he is then gets sold! But he doesn't play, everyone is told he can't defend and isn't good enough for the first team and it'll be 'we fleeced city' and 'great business' from the majority of the fan base...

hogwash - If he played and was as good as everybody on here would like to believe it would double his value as every club in the world would want him. the cynic would suggest hes actually not that good so we havent played him so people cant find out how crap he really is!
Of course there are probably very good reasons why St Ross hasnt played but why should that make any difference to the majority of Everton supporters who like to post on forums

IMO He aint playin coz he aint good enough! I know people on here are wishing for him to be a star but lets be honest if McFadden,Gueye,Coleman and Drenthe got the nod ahead of him then it doesnt really bode well does it? I think we should cash in whilst his stock is high as look at what has happened to Rodwell....We were tellin people he was worth 20m+ and in reality we would probably be happy with 9 or 10m for him now!
P.s.....The lad is 18 now, all the great players have made it by that age! He is miles away from starting for an average prem team! saviour my arse.....

Haha...just bored in work really! Still dont think he is as good as people on here think he is! But maybe thats why I am stuck in work on nights instead of managing a footy club!

Who's to say Rodwell won't be worth that in a year or two's time? He's spent the better part of the last 3 seasons injured... if the lad ever figures out how to stay healthy and hits a good run of form like I think most of us know he's capable of, I could definitely see him transforming into a star player. I just don't think it's worth selling our bright young talent before we can determine what their full potential can be.
