Mail thinks it's Ross Barkley. Didn't see much of him, but heard he's very good with great potential. What you people think?

Luke Shaw to eventually replace Ashley Cole? Southampton are in a decent financial position so could demand a high price.

I think any club in world football would see a point in buying Ross Barkley to be honest.

The real question is whether any club would be willing to meet the asking price of £30-40m.

Really though?
From what ive seen Ross is FAR too good for U20 Internationals, which makes it more absurd as to why Pearce never chose the lad for the U21's. Going by what ive seen of Ross over the years and others in his age group, its really hard to name someone better than him.
 
I'll never, ever understand the people who say hype is unhelpful. The true superstars of the game respond to the hype positively - the Rodwell's and Jeffers of this word flounder under it. It's how you take the Messi's and Ronaldo's to the next level beyond the ordinary.

If there wasn't hype around Barkley, there'd be something very wrong.
