I think the vast majority of coaches might've shared Moyes view. I watched Barkley against a team of no-marks in a youth international tournament and they put him right wing for the last 20 mins and it was embarrassing watching the opposing full back run past him. Don't beat yourself up over Moyes. I know lots of folk where speaking up for Barkley on here (and well done to them) but don't underestimate the part this manager is playing in bringing him through.

Why on earth would Moyes say that to Warnock? I'm assuming Moyes wanted him to get better...why would you **** him off like that to his new gaffer? It's unforgivable. The only way for him to handle playing with responsibility is to give it to him and let him play. Especially at Leeds. Who cares if he screws up once in a while while on loan there? FFS.

RM is simply better than we could have hoped for.

....Warnock has repeated this a few times in his morning stint on TalkSport. He says he took the boy and Moyes said he was very talented but don't give him any responsibility to track back or mark up because he doesn't do it. Alan Brazil asked what type of lad he was and Warnock said he's first class, just wants to play footy, first out and last in when it comes to training.
