Ross Barkley

If we we offered 85 Million for Barkley, Roberto would drive him to the new club himself

That's an astronomical amount for such a young player

That ebings aid, I hope we never sell him and he leads us to title number 10!

considering he had a triple leg break at such a young age and who knows what affects that will have on his career, it would be crazy to turn it down i'd have to admit. would love ross to spend his whole career here though. Like as quoted before, we are in a much better position than with rooney - you could tell in a couple of years he was destined to be head and shoulders above the rest of our team. That's not the case with barkley, we have some amazing players at his level everywhere you look. There's nothing to say that if we qualify for champs league this season, that would be the springboard to do it for many seasons on the trot.

We could say to ross that we need this money for the good of the club. So the plan is to let you go and you sign a 3 year contract with your new club, and run the contract down and come back to us for free.

is rice. even though i'm sure his new club wouldn't spend that much money and go any less than 5 year contract.

The media vultures are the lowest form of scum on the planet. Disrespectful shysters the lot of them.

It's worse than speculation headlines; they actually have a well-rehersed template for each scenario - new exciting talent emerges, find every possible way to immediate link him to the sky-4.

Leave the boy alone. Let him develop at his own pace, and give his parent club - who, let's remind them, are currently ABOVE some of the teams that he's be touted around - the chance to see him make a meaningful contribution to their fortunes.

Barkley should stay till he's 23/24, learning under a progressive manager, aiming to take Everton as far as he can, winning a few derbies at Anfield as a boyhood Blue. Like Rooney should have done if he had brain cells.

Then if if there's just been the normal negative/nil net spends that everyone applauds Kenwright for, and the club can't progress, he takes his chance elsewhere and that's £60M to plug other operating costs. Couldn't criticise him for that.

How about he doesn't leave at all and stays and wins all the things with us :D

My pal, who is a WHU fan, said to me today he can still be only the next Jack Collison, I had to laugh really, really hard....

Boss Barkley b)
