It doesn't vanish though. Player trading is included in the annual accts. Our last set of accts. revealed a £9million loss after player trading.

Don't get me wrong, we DO need new owners, I just don't buy all these conspiracy theories about fraudulent activity.

Explain how after selling Fellaini, Anichebe and Jelavic we apparently can only afford loans then?

It's a case of the media looking at one plus one and coming up with fifteen.

"Chelsea sell an attacking midfielder, let's have a look around and link him to a plausible replacement..."

It's complete nonsense, just won't happen.

won't happen now but will in the future

Conspiracies galore, on teletext today the sale of Mata to Man U was the prelude to Chelsea coming in for Ross!

That has just brought back some amazing memories this...... jesus wept ! hahaha

The times ive sat there as a kid throwing up the teletext to keep an eye on the score and the delight in refreshing the page and seeing a goal go in. Nice one lad

It will ALWAYS be presnted that a player came to Bill begging for a move. Always.

That's the modus operendi of Kenwright and this regime...how they survive the constant selling of top top quality players.

If RB does go to Chelsea I'd expect an army of Kenwright trolls paving the way with a whispering campaign about the lad.

It's all so predictable unfortunately. We have a business model where owners dont invest and that means they scavenge off the club itself. They are true parasites in every sense of the word. Feeding off the host.

Proof lad instead of speculation please - sue the club then - Jebus Billy feckin Bullens and Cribb

great days

also the page would flip and the club call ect.. rumours used to do my head in.

why does anyone think we will be selling Barkley? There has been absolutely NOTHING to suggest that there is even a modicum of chance this will happen, or that he won't sign a new contract.

Get a life, FFS

Because unless Kenwrong has just found a missing mega millions lottery ticket from the states and has claimed the 400 million notes in the last 30 minutes whilst i was on my lunch, we are still very much a selling club who every now and then sells an asset. It won't be this window and probably not even the summer window but it will come at some point.

Its been the Everton way for as long as i can remember and Kenwrong is already licking his lips. Trying to tell me not one team has enquired about Barkley ?? Not one discussion amongst our wonderful board, discussing what kind of compensation we could expect from the sale ?? His value this season has soared through simply playing each week and his dazzling displays, which he will no doubt continue when he is fit again. Head off with England to the world cup and really announce to the world that this Ross Barkley is a player, if they didn't already know. Further adding to his value........

Kenwrong will appear and predictably boast about how proud he is that Ross is an Evertonian and how no amount of money could buy Ross. Further stamping the impression that he won't come cheap, because as we all know, everyone has a price. A replica of the Wayne Rooney scenario, only this time, Kenwrong knows that by holding out for a couple of windows, he could potentially double his money. It pains me to say it but thats what we do.

Might not be this window but its coming

YEAH, take your doom elsewhere.

He's going NOWHERE!!

This will be one of Kenwrights quotes in his appearance at the end of August to ring every lost drop of cash out of a club who has enquired.

We've heard it before lads, from Kenwright himself in previous years, that is fact ! Would he turn down a 60m bid, or could he is the question really ?
