God i hate the window, this place goes mental.

Baines was leaving in summer. Did he? Baines was then leaving in Jan. Has he? It's media rubbish. They have nothing to write about so it's easy to make up rumours

Eh?? There are 2 clubs in the whole of England that arent selling clubs - City and Chelsea. The rest including Arse,utd,spurs and the sh1te all sell players they would rather keep. We are no different.

So, 90 ut of 92 league clubs are selling clubs including us -- so what?

If Barkley goes, Bobby will too. There's no sense in selling him for even 50 million, as we couldn't attract a player to replace him. We could buy 5 players not worthy of cleaning his boots (like spurs did with the bale cash).

Unless he says he wants to leave, which he won't unless Bill asks him to, he's gonna be around long term and we can build a **** hot side around him.

The conspiracy theorists will come up with all kinds of negative conclusions for the sake of it, the chances of us selling players we need are a lot smaller than they were a few years back. Some people need to take a look at the table, we are pushing for 4th at the present, we need all the players we can, we know that, Martinez knows that and so does Kenwright.

If I was a manager in the premiership with a rich owner, I would throw 40 million to test the Everton board cos he will be world class in a few years, 40 million would not even be a risk.
