would have to be a lot of cash as well. Barkley is/will be a bigger star than Lukaku

So it's started again.

One paper prints some made up crap that we are selling Ross and the doomsayers and paranoid freaks think he is off tomorrow for 30p and we are going to sign Des Lynam as his replacement

Yeah but the clubs who sold those players got some great seasons out of them. If we sell barkley after just one season...

Whereas you have a point, if slightly aggressive, people are just worried because they want to see him in (Everton) blue for as long as is possible, that's all. He's still here though and quite likely to have signed a new contract...so no worries.

I know it sounds slightly aggressive but I am pi55ed off with it.

For some reason these posters enjoy posting made up bad news and it's boring. They never post nearly as much about a positive rumour even tho we sign more good players than sell good players.
 
Like the rest I hope we dont sell Barkley soon and my reasons for thinking we wont are I believe he will sign a new contract which means we will have some control over the sale price. At the moment I dont think other clubs would offer the kind of money it would take to buy him but one day they will and we will probably sell in the same way as Utd sold Ronaldo and Spurs sold Bale as at some point everyone has there price.
 
God i hate the window, this place goes mental.

Baines was leaving in summer. Did he? Baines was then leaving in Jan. Has he? It's media rubbish. They have nothing to write about so it's easy to make up rumours
 

No chance we would sell Ross in the short term but we a selling club and as long as we have a board who refuse to put a penny into the club then it will be a sell to buy roadmap.

Eh?? There are 2 clubs in the whole of England that arent selling clubs - City and Chelsea. The rest including Arse,utd,spurs and the sh1te all sell players they would rather keep. We are no different.

So, 90 ut of 92 league clubs are selling clubs including us -- so what?
 
I'd feel infinitely better about this game if he was passed fit. Him and Coleman.

Happy to have McGeady on the right, just so Mirallas doesn't play there. So I could live with not having Pienaar back.
