I disagree, I think the best treatment for him would be to start against West Ham, and Bobby to essentially tell him 'You're my man even if you have a bad game'. Coming off the bench he seems to really struggle.

Would be harsh on Osman mind as he has been top notch recently, but an onform Barkley has got that cutting edge we so dearly missed at the weekend

Yeah this. I don't know why but Ross really struggles coming off the bench. I can't think of any time he's come on and changed a game or played brilliantly. He just can't seem to pick up the pace of the game. Very strange!

Think it's imperative he starts against west ham IMO. For his confidence etc...benching him now could literally affect the rest of his season. Osman we all know can do a great job from the bench so the option is there if needs be.

He was really good as a sub in the Sunderland game. However, he came on at half time which is similar to the beginning of a game in that everyone is starting cold rather than being thrust into a game mid flow.

I think he looks like someone struggling to get into a game when he comes on and needs match time. I would start him and see how he goes from there. This is our future so its in our best interests to get him up and running asap.
