Personally I wouldn't be upset if he doesn't go. An injury in the 90th minute at Hull might not be the worst thing to ever happen. If he does go, he isn't going to start but is a great option off the bench.

Pointless going the WC IMO. 1) Roy will be too scared to play him & 2) Roy doesnt have a clue how to get the best out of him like Roberto can.

It'll be a 2 week holiday in Brazil for him whilst training everyday. Rather he went on his own holiday and rested throughout the Summer than be involved in the circus that is the English national team.

Given he broke his leg on u19 England duty he'll know the risks of injury far better than us and he's experienced Moyes's caution so Hodgeson's style is unlikely to phase him.

If he wants to go to Brazil to play in a world cup, which is an memory surely few footballers would turn down, hope he gets to go.
