if he left for 20 mil now rather than the 50+ mil he could go for in 2-3 years it just highlights the complete ineptitude of the board and that punk kenwright. Leaving the brightest young star in english football going to the world cup with just 2 years left on his deal you couldn't make it up. Would Spurs/the RS do that? not a chance as they actually have businessmen running their clubs

He should have been offered a contract last summer, don't know why we didn't offer him a 5 year contract last season?

Everyone needs to chill, Ross ain't going anywhere anytime soon, he ain't Rooney and we ain't the same club/team that Rooney left! A contract will be sorted when it's sorted (not that they really mean bugger all)

Ref: The zidane comparisons. I think Ross will be 2 different players throughout his career. Currently the marauding attacking midfielder but I think second half of his career he'll be more a more disciplined CM who will control games Zidane style!
