Ross at Wayne Lineker' beach club in Ibiza..

In another life where he's crap at footy - he'd be banging hot chav's and selling the Gary's on that holiday lol

His nipples are massive.

Hi everyone. City fan in peace here. With all the stories about us possibly bidding for Ross, just curious what you all make of the fact he's still on 15k a week and hasn't signed a new deal whilst players like Baines, Coleman, etc have. I've just read that he'll have 12 months left on his contract next summer and will therefore be much cheaper if he doesn't sign a new deal. Don't wanna get excited about us possibly signing him because frankly I think it's highly unlikely that we'd be able to afford him or that you'd sell this summer. The only way I see it as possible is if he has said he won't sign a new deal, because then you'd only get big money for him this summer. We'd have to sell a bunch of players too to get the money together.

Reckon he's staying put.

I have to say, I've not heard any Barkley to City rumours.

No chance mate. Not saying that as mad bias but honestly we have no reason to sell for under £50m - you'd have to bid stupid money to tempt us and even then it's unlilkely.

City have been very quick this summer to brief the media when we've been linked with players who they aren't going after. In particular when we were linked with Sanchez and Fabregas, on both occasions UK journos said they had been briefed by City there was no interest. Conversely with Barkley it's been the opposite over the last week. Simon Mullock at the Mirror and Stu Brennan at the MEN are both reporting that City are trying to offload three of four players to bring Ross in. As I say i'm skeptical but when I read about his contractual situation it did make me wonder. Was just curious as to how Evertonians saw the fact no deal had been signed yet when other important players like Coleman had put pen to paper.

Anyway whatever happens I just want to say that I think the lad is special. Very special. Also think you have a very special manager in Roberto Martinez. Wish you all the best both in the transfer window and in the upcoming season. A lot of rancour between City and Everton around the Lescott transfer, but for me both sets of supporters have always had a hell of a lot in common. We were very lucky as a club when Sheikh Mansour came in and honestly i've always said if there's any other club who I hope that happens to, it's yours. Put the reds back in their place.

I actually think that's the kind of money City will be bidding. Or to be more accurate somewhere around 40/45 million pounds plus Milner or Rodwell.

Cheers mate. Still think he'll stay put and ultimately sign back on though.
