To be honest one of the biggest myths City supporters have perpetuated recent years is the wonderful atmosphere at Maine Road and how everything changed when we moved to the Etihad. We've always been an odd bunch, seemingly enjoying our failures more than our victories (probably because there were so many of the former and so few of the latter for such long periods).
I really hope you get your new stadium so you understand what i'm talking about. The atmosphere will change whether you like it or not. Decades of history with the people around you will be wiped and new people will be put in their place. You think it's bad now at the Etihad, believe me when I say I've seen worse.
Like a new contract would change it.
Get used to it, we'll be hearing it every summer until he leaves or is past it.
Every summer, every good game he has.And fruit balls will talk about it until the cows come home.
Will he go? Will he stay? WhO kNoWs?!?!?! Such a riveting tale.
Every summer, every good game he has.
It's going to get very annoying.
It'll be doubly as bad if we get Rom, and as John Stones comes more into his own.
We thought Baines to United was bad, but this could be a whole new level of selling Everton's players. And good blues will get sucked into it with worry.
Let's just enjoy it. He ours, I highly doubt we're selling him this summer, he'll probably sign a contract, and we'll see what happens next year.
Lads, you can laugh it up all you want. FFP was designed to keep clubs like you in your place. We were lucky to be bought out before the regs came in. Always makes me chuckle when other team's supporters somehow think it's a hindrance for a club which is already cemented in the top 4 and in CL football.
For the lad who said "I'll still remember you as a yoyo club". We still remember ourselves as a yoyo club, and unlike others we have always been capable of laughing at ourselves. Kippax humour for want of a better phrase.
I've heard ever bitter jibe there is to hear about Oil barons, about dodgy sponsorship deals, the not at all ironic "where were you when you were [Poor language removed]" chants. We're not laughing because we're rich or because we win things. We're laughing because it's [Poor language removed] hilarious that suddenly supporters like one or two of you think that our club doesn't have exactly the same following as a club like Everton.
You want glory hunters and plastics look no further than your red neighbours, our red neighbours, or pretty much any of the big London clubs.

The thing about all footballers is that you just enjoy them while you can. Whether you develop them or buy them, whether you're a rich club or a poor club. Players will come and go and the days of one club players are literally over. Everyone moves on eventually. The thing which remains consistent are us the supporters.
There we go, we need to be kept in our place. Sound.
Pipe down Evertonians in your wee old ground there. You don't know what a soulless bowl is like ok? OK?
It's not as if City are terrified for the most part when they visit this old rickety ground and seldom win now is it?
Players that come and go eh? In fairness you contributed the best part of £40m for Lescott and Rodwell so we should be grateful towards you. But your attitude of players coming and going is a symptom of you selling out and buying mercenaries. As long as they win you trophies though eh?
Nice one for the patronising mate but you know what? We'd be more inclined to listen if you could genuinely stay in the top division for a couple of decades. Buying a title here or there doesn't make you an expert on modern football, on the contrary it seems to have made you an arrogant tit.
And that's a shame as I never minded City fans but you're representing the worse of them.
You're in no position to look down your nose at us just yet. Kindly get back to being sound or do one.

Remove the chip from your shoulder mate. I'm not looking down my nose at anyone. And unless I'm mistaken it's an open forum so I won't be doing one anywhere.
For the record I'm [Poor language removed] terrified every time we visit Goodison. It's been a very difficult ground for us for a very long time. Oh wait, i better take that back lest you feel patronised again.
So you patronise some more? Sound. It's an Evertonian forum too so swerve the open forum thing. We've got load of sound opposition fans on here and you started off that way but then you turned into a patronising beaut.
I pulled you up on it. So sort it or do one. Hopefully the former.
Great, first we've been taken over by kipper, then kopites, then mick, now oil barren pricks.
Kenwright should pick up some pointers.
Tits mate. You missed out the tits.
