To be honest one of the biggest myths City supporters have perpetuated recent years is the wonderful atmosphere at Maine Road and how everything changed when we moved to the Etihad. We've always been an odd bunch, seemingly enjoying our failures more than our victories (probably because there were so many of the former and so few of the latter for such long periods).

I really hope you get your new stadium so you understand what i'm talking about. The atmosphere will change whether you like it or not. Decades of history with the people around you will be wiped and new people will be put in their place. You think it's bad now at the Etihad, believe me when I say I've seen worse.

That's why I hope we redevelop Goodison or get a ground with a bit of character and not a soulless bowl. Goodison has a superb atmosphere when it gets going, but yeah, all I hear from the likes of Sunderland fans etc is that new, modern grounds don't have the same magic as the old ones.

The thing about all footballers is that you just enjoy them while you can. Whether you develop them or buy them, whether you're a rich club or a poor club. Players will come and go and the days of one club players are literally over. Everyone moves on eventually. The thing which remains consistent are us the supporters.

Lads, you can laugh it up all you want. FFP was designed to keep clubs like you in your place. We were lucky to be bought out before the regs came in. You want glory hunters and plastics look no further than your red neighbours, our red neighbours, or pretty much any of the big London clubs.

Nice one for the patronising mate but you know what? We'd be more inclined to listen if you could genuinely stay in the top division for a couple of decades. Buying a title here or there doesn't make you an expert on modern football, on the contrary it seems to have made you an arrogant tit.

And that's a shame as I never minded City fans but you're representing the worse of them.
