Reading back regarding Wayne Lineker, I know him and have done some business with him. Trust me when I say he's a grade A plum, as are the beauts who hang around with him. Shithouse plazzy hardman beakheads reinventing themselves overseas.
done some business yeah? what was that?

You want glory hunters and plastics look no further than your red neighbours, our red neighbours, or pretty much any of the big London clubs.

No. No interest in them or that.

Buying a load of fairly talented athletes for stupid sums of money is all well and good. Winning things and gathering a few more blurt fans to sell your jarg shirts to in far flung bogholes is ok too. What you've basically done is almost catch up with Chelsea. It's alright. You've fallen foul of ffp this year but you haven't really "cheated". You've spent the most money, bought the best team (there or there abouts) and won the league.

To say that is what we want is way off. You have always wanted to be someone else. We don't. We do things our way.

Of course we want to win the league. With a home grown team, the odd £60k right back, the occasional purchase, in a battered old stadium, full of snarling lids.

Enjoy your franchise's time in the sun you scruffy little flid. Manchester is full of [Poor language removed].

Have you just made this up?? Admit it, you have.

That's just my guess given the positions of both club and player.

As for all the rest. Wow that escalated quickly :-)

I don't know what really to say but Chelsea are basically ahead of where City where 10 years ago and they're still not turning a profit based on their worldwide supporter base and need to be bankrolled by abramovich.

It's a long road for City to get to the position that Liverpool or Utd are at and FFP will certainly slow them down.

We on the other hand have a lot of things in our favour like our history and fanbase which in a post FFP world will do us well.

How this relates to Ross I have no idea but it doesn't make sense for the club or the player to part ways now and who knows what the future brings.

We might win the league next season.

Well he's not is he. Its not like the Club have went 'We are willing to sell Ross Barkley, chuck us your best prices', because they havent done that at all. Ross isn't for the sale, the Club and Manager dont want to sell him. Things change when a ridiculous amount of money comes in for him, but that still doesnt mean he's for sale, means the money is too good to turn down.

Well that essentially what I meant. Everyone is for sale at the right price. So is Ross.

The right price for Ross would be 60M + in my mind. Anything less isn't stupid enough.

I honestly don't believe even the stupid bids of 60M wouldn't prize him away THIS summer!

Let's be honest, the kid isn't a flash in the pan. He's a boyhood blue and needs to be playing. I think more and more of these kids are seeing the downfall of going off to a city/Chelsea to see your career go down the pan on the bench for a few years.

He'll still be worth silly money next year and the following and so on....one day it may suit all that we accept the silly offer and he moves on. For now I'm not worried.

Hopefully we move on a level and he feels no need to leave at any point....here's hoping anyway!!

I agree ultimately I don't think he would want to go and thats the only reason we would sell but it would still be a weight of my mind once he signs.

I don't get what all the fuss is about.

If Man City want him enough and they offer enough money then there is not a cat in hells chance that Bill Kenwright and his board of merry men will not sell him, as it keeps them in charge without having to find any money from anywhere else.

He is essentially their meal ticket in keeping Bill in charge, then after him it will be the next great hope, or maybe they will cash in on Stones or Coleman.

No point in getting our knickers in a twist, it's just the way it is.

Think you have a point mate the reality is money talks in football just look at the nonsense of Qatar getting the World Cup

UEFA isn't FIFA. Platini will make sure FFP works. The big European teams control UEFA.

Plus there's no such thing as cemented in the top 4, Liverpool where one of the Top 4 and then dropped down. Utd last season also dropped down. Even Chelsea dropped down but got lucky as that was the year they won it.

There's 5 teams not including us or Spurs who can all compete financially with each other. One will drop out.

There's no guarantee City will finish in the top 4. Your spending will be limited due to FFP, Aguero is crocked and Toure is looking out. Next season will be very interesting.
