Ross Barkley

He wont be going anywhere, and the fact I am so confident with Bill Kenwright in charge should be proof enough that its just not going to happen.

He will sign a contract within the next couple of weeks which will keep the cradle snatchers at bay for another year.

UEFA isn't FIFA. Platini will make sure FFP works. The big European teams control UEFA.

Plus there's no such thing as cemented in the top 4, Liverpool where one of the Top 4 and then dropped down. Utd last season also dropped down. Even Chelsea dropped down but got lucky as that was the year they won it.

There's 5 teams not including us or Spurs who can all compete financially with each other. One will drop out.

There's no guarantee City will finish in the top 4. Your spending will be limited due to FFP, Aguero is crocked and Toure is looking out. Next season will be very interesting.

Aguero is crocked? Haha. Read it all now. Toure is looking out, which is why City are circling Barkley. Not that we'll get him, but it should give you an indication of what type of player will replace him.

City and Chelsea are a million miles away from dropping out of the top 4. Liverpool, United, and Chelsea have all done it during times of transition when their squads weren't good enough to finish in the top 4.

The obsession some of you have with FFP is proper depressing. You really don't see how it's been created to keep teams like you in your place rather than trying to punish those clubs already in the CL. Platini brokered the deal between the Qatari's and PSG. In exchange for Qatar buying Paris, Platini promised them his vote for the WC, and the French government dished out tax exempt investment options. This is all well documented throughout the French press. Baring that in mind, if you think that Platini is now going to start kicking clubs like PSG out of the CL then you're severely deluded.

We like it in our place, we've been successful for a long time in our place. Our place has class, dignity and tradition. Cast your mind back, you had a place like ours once - but you sold it. We only sell our players...you sold Manchester City

This whole ffp thing is garbage. City got a fine. What difference to them does it make? It's a nice little earner for FIFA/eufa.

Anyone could do what city have done. Any club. You were lucky that's all. Don't get on your high horse when in reality, without a big sheikh throwing money around you would be mid table at very best

...at very inflated prices to Manchester clubs hahaha. Man City have some way to catch up with us in terms of Championships and our Euro success is on a par. I do recall watching them at Goodison many times when they had a side we could all name without prompt....Corrigan Book Pardoe Doyle Booth Oakes etc and that's before rattling off the stars like Bell, Lee and before we walked "a million miles to the end of Summerbee's nose". But our Citeh Correspondent needs to worry about putting his Stretford neighbours in their place first on the European stage before trying to talk down to us. Kids, huh !

Post of the week

No. No interest in them or that.

Buying a load of fairly talented athletes for stupid sums of money is all well and good. Winning things and gathering a few more blurt fans to sell your jarg shirts to in far flung bogholes is ok too. What you've basically done is almost catch up with Chelsea. It's alright. You've fallen foul of ffp this year but you haven't really "cheated". You've spent the most money, bought the best team (there or there abouts) and won the league.

To say that is what we want is way off. You have always wanted to be someone else. We don't. We do things our way.

Of course we want to win the league. With a home grown team, the odd £60k right back, the occasional purchase, in a battered old stadium, full of snarling lids.

Enjoy your franchise's time in the sun you scruffy little flid. Manchester is full of [Poor language removed].

I just dont see how it can be enjoyable to cheer on a team full of overpaid mercenaries with the best players psychological issues beinf highlighted every season (Toure?!).

I actually think after the first year if that was us then the novelty value would wear off.

We say that but footballers are overpaid mercenaries anyway, whether that be 30K PW or 300k PW.

The only special thing in football these days is bringing through your youngsters and seeing them develop and play for the shirt of their boyhood club, but it seem even that is no longer possible with the vultures and cradle snatchers that cannot develop and bring through their own talent.

Ross will never mean to City what he means to Everton, he is more than a player at the minute, he is one of us, and long may it continue.

Sorry I didn't even think I was saying something that you would take issue with. Ageuro was crocked all second half of last season and in the World Cup. Even you must admit he hasn't looked right in a long time and that must worry the hell out of you.

This City team has peaked and Arsenal and Chelsea will definitely finish above you so it will between yourselves, Liverpool and Utd for the final 2 CL places and that isn't even considering us or Spurs. I think it's at least as possibility you won't get Top 4. I thought Utd wouldn't last season before the season begun and lets just say even if in their worst fears there wasn't too many of their fans who thought they wouldn't.

Platini might hold PSG to different standard because a) they're not English b) They're French like him and c) They're the biggest club in France and a much bigger club (before the money was put in) than City.

However he will go after your club.

Sorry they never had a club like ours. They still don't.

We've won the league 9 times.

Heard the same about Roman for the last 10 years.

Even he'll get bored eventually or the Tories will grow a pair and throw him out for the Ukraine malarkey.

For all his tiny tears, I actually quite like having Blue Bill at the helm (when he isn't speaking to the media)
