I'd be shocked if Ross wasn't with us next season.

Said earlier in this thread, we'd demand too much money for anyone else to pay based on one season.

What kind of wages would Ross be on? Given he's young, I would have thought it was relatively low.

Even if we were given a large wad for him, any player(s) we signed in replacement would cost more per week, especially if they are 1st team.

It wouldn't be good business long term. That's another reason home grown young talent is so valuable.

He's not the finished article by any stretch of the imagination. He'll get better, whether he'll ever hit those limits I don't know, to me he appears to have confidence issues. Moyes and Hodgson managed to make him frightened to death to lose the ball.

I fully believe he'll be a top talent though, he has all the tools skill wise.

It's not matter of teams not wanting him, they just can't afford him. Luke shaw goes for £30 million and he's proven nothing yet. If someone next season comes in for him it will be in excess of 50 million. Bloody David Luiz one the worst centre half's to grace the premier league went for 50!
