This injury is what underlines the importance that we get in another striker to lead the line imo. If something like this happens to Lukaku during the season it can cost us.
Doesn't sound like it was an injury naturally occurred during a normal training session.. "narrowly avoiding an injury that could have wrecked the first half of his campaign".. You don't pull a muscle & think thank **** I didn't snap me leg.
I'll have that bet with you....... *Taps Nose*£100 says it was Besic who injured him.
Won't be the only ones in brown shoes at full time if those all start tomorrow..Its ok lads, we've had a great pre- season. Bobby's got it covered. Hibbert, Osman, Naismith, McGeady all starting tomorrow. In brown shoes we trust!
Yeah but getting lucky with injuries isn't just not getting them, it's getting them to the "right" people, and at the right times.
Lallana went down for 8 weeks, but it was several weeks before the season, so he'll miss less games, and he also won't hurt them too much by not being there.
The equivalent of Ross's injury for them would be Sturridge (their one position with minimal cover) going down for 8 weeks
Eh? So That was my point though - Lallana isn't a "key" player for them... he's an expensive player. Not the same thing.Well yeah, so they do get long terms injuries to key players. That was my point: they're not lucky and injuries like that do happen.
Better than missing the first 8 games for taking a bite out of another human. Let him laugh, he's a bit hypocritical on that one. Some kopite is sat at home laughing his nob off. Seed has well and truly been planted.
Christ. Some of the Evertonians we have, have been pissing on it all day. Its bloomed quite nicely.
it is his kneeGot to be knee or ankle damage.
If the Echo are tweeting it could have been half a season then it's not going to be a hamstring or foot.
