You can't train properly without allowing full contact football. Whatever Osman did he didn't injure Barkley on purpose and this shouldn't be viewed as anything other than a bit of bad luck.

So it was Osman then. That explains a lot, he can't tackle properly to save his life. Have you even seen him tackle successfully in a league game.

If he had got rid of him like many of us on here were sying instead of another contract we would still have Barkley.

For him to do his ligaments the day before the season opener makes me question what exactly he was doing in training?

Surely we should have been doing a light session, seems mad that he's now out for up to 5 months for a knee injury he got in training..
